Southern California Grantmakers Addresses Japan Tragedy

(3-11-2011) An 8.9 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Japan today, setting off a massive tsunami and causing floods, fires and widespread damage. At least 1,000 individuals are presumed dead in the aftermath of the disaster, reports the Los Angeles Times.

In response to this crisis, Southern California Grantmakers has compiled a list of resources for grantmakers. Check the website for resources pertaining to the impact of the earthquake and tsunami, as well as other information on disaster-related grantmaking.
