In Support of Creative Practice
2006, 12 pages. Alliance of Artists Communities, 255 South Main Street, Providence, RI 02905, 401-351-4320, firstname.lastname@example.org
This set of articles highlights three models for providing time and space for artists to create new work: the provision of artist work-spaces, residencies for women, and artist communities with a focus on ecology or a sense of place. Particularly interesting interdisci-plinary programs include residencies with the Center for Land Use Interpretation and NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab, and a series of residency-produced artworks entitled "Signatures of the Invisible" at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research in Geneva, Switzerland.
