In general, you may visit our website without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. The GIA Members Directory is available only to GIA members using their user ID and login.

Information We Collect

Our web server automatically recognizes only your domain name but not your email address. Aggregate information that we collect (e.g., total number of page views on a given day) is used for internal review of traffic patterns to our site and is then discarded.

We collect your email address if you communicate with us by email or otherwise voluntarily provide your email address to us. Shipping and credit card information collected on book orders is used only to process those orders and guarantee delivery. We do not sell, rent, or share any information gathered via our website with commercial or nonproft organizations.

Links from this site

Grantmakers in the Arts (GIA) provides links from this site to the web sites of other organizations only for purposes of facilitating access to additional sources of information. GIA does not endorse these other organizations or the content of their web sites, nor necessarily agree with the opinions expressed in such material. Cookies

GIA members who log into the Member's Directory, however, are sent a cookie file that allows them to gain access to those pages. A browser that is set to not accept cookies cannot be used to view the Members Directory.
