Conference Information & Registration

The 2013 GIA Conference has SOLD OUT!

For the first time in 28 years, we have reached our capacity for the conference, and are no longer able to accept additional registrations, either in advance or on site at the conference.

Registration Desk Hours

The registration desk at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel will be open during the following hours:

Sunday, October 6
7:30am - 9:00am (Main Lobby)
2:00pm - 8:00pm (2nd Floor Mezzanine)

Monday, October 7
7:30am - 6:30pm (2nd Floor Mezzanine)

Tuesday, October 8
7:30am - 3:00pm (2nd Floor Mezzanine)
5:00pm - 6:30pm (2nd Floor Mezzanine)

Wednesday, October 9
8:15am - 11:00am (2nd Floor Mezzanine)

Conference Eligibility

Conference attendance is only open to GIA members, as well as staff and trustees of organizations that are eligible for GIA membership. These include private, community, corporate, and family foundations; public-sector grantmakers; regranting organizations whose primary purpose is arts grantmaking; and individual donors who give through eligible organizations. Membership is not required for conference attendance.

A Brief Word on Fundraising Ethics

To preserve the capacity for open discussion, all attendees must refrain from fundraising or solicitation. Organizations that solicit funds are expected to be represented only by individuals whose roles involve programming and/or policy, and not by fundraising or development staff.

Note: As we are nearing capacity for the 2013 GIA Conference, we can no longer offer single day registration online. To be added to a waiting list for single day registration, please email gia@giarts.org. Full conference registration is still available.

Guest Fee

Guest fees are $125. The guest fee permits an individual accompanying a conference registrant to attend these social events:

Please note that conference plenary sessions, meals, and conference breakout sessions are not open to guests.
