Introducing GIA’s New Look
GIA Website Screenshot
Grantmakers in the Arts is pleased to announce a new and improved website! The new website features a creative new look, improved navigation, and a robust search engine to help members explore the research, articles, and media in GIA’s arts philanthropy resource library. The new look also includes a new logo that captures the creative spirit of GIA. Coming up in the new year, we’ll also launch an enhanced, searchable member database to gather more robust data about the arts funding landscape and help members better connect to each other. The redesign process has been a large and exciting endeavor for GIA, and we’ll continue to fine tune over the next several weeks and months.
Transition Update: Thanking Our GIA Staff
As we transition the national office from Seattle, WA, to the Bronx, NY, Grantmakers in the Arts gives its utmost gratitude to Jim McDonald, deputy director & director of programs; Kathy Lindenmayer, development director; SuJ’n Chon, program manager; Noah Barnes, membership manager; and Monica Thomas, communications & publications manager. These individuals will not be making the move to New York but will work with the incoming staff in support of the transition. Steve Cline, web & knowledge manager, will continue full-time work remotely from Seattle while Jan Bailie will continue on a part-time basis as finance and operations advisor. Grantmakers in the Arts would like to thank all of its wonderful staff for their dedication and exemplary work in support of artists and the field of arts philanthropy.
