Arts Alliance Illinois and the Illinois Arts Council Agency held the 2013 One State Together in the Arts conference in late July for arts leaders, advocates and practitioners in Illinois. Video of the speakers is now available online
, including Theaster Gates (on building the community you want to live in), Preston Jackson (on the importance of the arts to history and community), and Tekki Lomnicki, co-founder of Tellin' Tales Theatre (on telling the stories of people including people with disabilities through performance, mentoring, and collaboration).
