In 2008, Native Arts & Cultures Foundation was created to provide exclusive Native-led, Native-partnered funding, leadership, and capacity support to the field. This report introduces the foundation’s logic model and ecosystem as a backdrop to its first five years of accomplishments. Spotlights of artists from the foundation’s growing cohort of talented American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian fellows demonstrate how it has already made a profound impact on preserving Native arts and cultures.
