Creative Fusion is an international artist-in-residence program of the Cleveland Foundation. Foreign artists are invited to spend up to a year in Cleveland, hosted by cultural and educational institutions. visiting artists participate in community engagement and learning activities, work with and learn from local artists, and continue to create and share work. The program looks for exceptional contemporary artists from cultures not well represented here. We consider artists of any discipline whose work addresses the human experience.

The program is a multi-year initiative to bring accomplished artists from diverse cultures to Cleveland for extended periods of time. These artists will be embedded within existing cultural institutions to facilitate the exchange of ideas and experiences across sectors, populations, ideologies and modes of creative expression.
